| Porter Square Vet has been a proud member of the community for over thirty years. Each year we work with the city of Somerville to host the Rabies Clinic in April.
The second annual Somerville Dog Festival will be on Sunday, September 18th, 2011 at Conway Park. This year's beneficiary is the Animal Rescue League of Boston. It is sure to be even bigger and better than last year. Porter Square Vet hosted the first annual Somerville Dog Festival on September 19, 2010. It was a great day for the whole family to celebrate dogs and their owners. On display at Conway Park in Somerville were demonstrations by agility and frisbee dogs, the city's only police dog, trainers and tracking dogs. There were also a variety of booths by sponsors, a silent auction, doggie fashion show as well as best trick and dog-owner look-a-like contests!
